zig fetch --save=zig_config https://github.com/Niek-HM/zig-config/archive/refs/heads/main.tar.gz

The command above packs a branch and is not pinned to a tag. In production, switch to refs/tags/<tag>.tar.gz and keep the hash that zig fetch --save writes for you.
